UK Canyoning Association Symposium: For Canyoneers!

Just 10 mins walk from Nae Limits, we have a basic camp ground with plenty space, Portaloos and water tap.
This will be ideal for those looking to hang out in your campers and tents.
Pitches will £15 per night*
*one van/camper/car with tent per pitch.
Nae Limits Adventure Centre will be basecamp for this year's Symposium. This is the perfect location for canyoning, workshops, eating, drinking and hang out.
Do you need a place to stay during the symposium?
Local options:
- Macbackpackers Hostel: A local hostel in nearby Pitlochry
- Event campsite: See campsite tab
- Red Brolly Inn: a 3* inn, just stumbling distance from the event base
There are various hotels and Airbnbs located in nearby Dunkeld and Pitlochry, for those looking for more luxurious accommodations.

How much is the symposium?
A ticket to the event is £TBC. There are a limited number of tickets available.
Is there a day pass?
Day passes will be available for purchase nearer to the time.
What's included in the ticket price?
The full ticket price includes access to event and evening venues (which will be exclusive to ticket holders) What is a workshop? Introductory and advanced workshops for canyoning activities will be facilitated by experts for you to further your experience and skills. These unique workshops are designed to match the requirements of both the recreational and professional outdoor adventure industry, with a student-based approach allowing for individual success to be achieved. Is accommodation included? Accommodation is not included in the ticket price. It is up to you or your group to organize your own accommodation during the symposium. Who can attend the symposium? Anyone can attend the symposium who has an interest in canyoning. Generally, it's geared up for people who are independent in canyoning or have taken a training course and have some experience. If you have limited or no experience there will be limited places on guided trips and equipment hire will be available (at an additional cost). As a minimum you should be comfortable around water and heights and have a reasonable level of fitness. If you wish to attend the symposium and are not interested in going canyoning but would like to be involved with the event, evening events and activities you are more than welcome to buy a ticket and come along.
If I don't have much experience can I join a group and go canyoning with them?
There will be lots of teams going out each day. Each team will allocate their own team leader. If the team leader is happy to take responsibility for you you can happily join their team.
Am I insured during the Symposium?
No, the symposium organizers and the UKCA hold no liability for your own personal,recreational canyoning.
