This is a great opportunity to meet up with lots of canyoneers from all over the UK and abroad, go canyoning, share skills, and experiences, and enjoy a beer or two

Where is the event?
- The symposium will take place in and around the village of Ingleton
- During the day The Old School Bunkhouse will become the base camp
- Evening events and entertainment will take place at The Falls Bar (see Evening Entertainment Tab)

Canyoning & More
There are three canyons in close proximity to the Ingelton and another three caves for everyone to explore. With more caves and canyons within an hour's drive from the base camp. With guided trips available.
Equipment stalls, workshops, UKCA AGM, technical advice and more will feature during the weekend.
A system for booking timeslots in the canyon to reduce congestion will be released and details of how to get you and your spots booked will follow.
As we get closer to the event, we will release details of the canyons, workshops, stalls, and more.

Entertainment
We will have evening entertainment to appease the party gods. Live bands will be playing on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Bands and timing will be confirmed closer to the event date, updates for this can be found in emails and social media notifications leading up to the symposium.

Food & Beverage
Canyoning and caving is hungry work, and we know you will be looking for a good feed post jumping and hanging around.
So as part of your ticket, there will be BBQ and Pizza buffet- 1 Main, 1 Side, unlimited salad and cold sides
It's also thirsty work so we will include a bottle of beer or cider with your meal.
You will be asked for dietary details on the purchase of your ticket. Please be sure to let us know of any allergies as well.

What is the UKCA Canyoning Symposium?
The Uk Canyoning Association canyoning symposium could also be called a rendezvous or a festival. It's a long weekend event where lots of canyoneers, commercial providers, and people interested in canyoning can come together, socialize, share experiences, and go canyoning. There will be lots of opportunities to meet friends, make new ones, and have lots of mild-mannered fun. There will be evening entertainment at a local venue with a bar and food supplied. Equipment stalls and industry suppliers will be in attendance. There will be practical workshops and talks from industry experts throughout the weekend.

There will be lots of teams going out each day. Each team will allocate their own team leader. If the team leader is happy to take responsibility for you you can happily join their team. Read More
